Shino Flower Earrings

I made these handmade ceramic earrings with a dandelion flower motif, revealed through a resist technique that lets the pattern emerge from the glaze. Finished in a rustic shino glaze (a traditional Japanese glaze prized for its warm, earthy tone!) There are two pairs available, so the pair you get may be oh-so-slightly different than what’s pictured. That’s handmade, baby!

Details: These earrings are handmade with Bmix clay, glazed and kiln fired, then finished with nickel-free posts and secured with a comfort backing.

Dimensions: 0.75” tall x 0.75” wide

Jewelry Care: Although BMix clay is relatively sturdy, make sure to keep jewelry in a box when traveling to prevent pressure and breakage. The back of the piece is unglazed and may show remnants of glaze— it’s just part of the making! If it gets dirty over time from handling— simply clean with a mild soap and a toothbrush et voila. Good as new! Enjoy!
